Instructions
PREPARATION
Apply a coat of Multi-Purpose Sealer to the outsides of all three jars.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: After painting each jar, add outlining and details with Lamp Black and liner.

Halloween Jar
1. Basecoat Royal Purple. When dry, spatter with Buttermilk.

2. Basecoat background behind witch Celery Green.

3. Dry-brush background with Light Avocado; then dry-brush lightly with Buttermilk.

4. Basecoat band around outside edge Buttermilk, then Marigold. Dry-brush band with a little Burnt Sienna.

5. Basecoat moon Burnt Orange, then dry-brush lightly with Marigold. Dot eye and mouth black.

6. Basecoat sign Buttermilk; shade Khaki Tan. Do lettering with black.

7. Paint witch face Camel; shade Raw Sienna; dry-brush cheeks Antique Rose. Dot eyes black.

8. Dry-brush area where hair will be with Sand. Line hair with black, then Driftwood.

9. Basecoat collar Country Blue. Line stitching black.

10. Basecoat pumpkin Burnt Orange; shade Russet. Basecoat stem Raw Sienna. Line eye, nose and mouth black; dots eyes and mouth Buttermilk.

11. Shade around witch on background with Black Green.

Fall Jar
1. Basecoat jar with Buttermilk, then Marigold. Spatter with Buttermilk.

2. Basecoat background Wisteria; shade and dry-brush with Country Blue.

3. Basecoat outer band with Leaf Green; dry-brush with Buttermilk.

4. Basecoat crow black; dry-brush with Light French Blue. Dry-brush cheeks with Antique Rose. Line beak with Marigold. Dot eyes and line crow with Buttermilk.

5. Basecoat fence Graphite; dry-brush Buttermilk.

6. Basecoat pumpkin Burnt Orange; dry-brush Buttermilk. Basecoat stem Raw Sienna.

7. Basecoat scarecrow face and collar Camel; shade Raw Sienna. Dry-brush cheeks Antique Rose. Paint nose Burnt Sienna; dry-brush Burnt Orange. Dot eyes and line hair and mouth black.

8. Basecoat hat Khaki Tan; dry-brush Golden Straw; shade Asphaltum.

9. Basecoat shirt Russet; dot buttons Buttermilk.

10. Paint sunflower petals Marigold; shade Burnt Sienna. Paint center Asphaltum.

11. Basecoat sign Buttermilk; shade Asphaltum.

Give Thanks Jar
1. Basecoat Leaf Green; spatter with Buttermilk.

2. Paint background Light French Blue. Wash with Sapphire.

3. Paint band around background Royal Purple; dry-brush Wisteria.

4. Paint face Camel; shade Raw Sienna; dry-brush cheeks with Antique Rose. Dot eyes and line hair black.

5. Paint hat and collar Buttermilk; shade Khaki Tan. Line vines on hat with Asphaltum and leaves with Black Green.

6. Paint dress black; dry-brush with Buttermilk.

7. Paint corn Marigold; shade with Burnt Sienna. Basecoat husks with Light Avocado; shade Evergreen.

8. Paint pumpkin Burnt Orange; dry-brush with Buttermilk. Paint stem Raw Sienna.

9. Paint grapes Royal Purple. Dry-brush each with Wisteria. Line stem with black.

FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Glue buttons to collar of witch and girl, center of sunflower and corner of scarecrow.

2. Spray jars with Americana Matte Spray.

3. Tie fabric bows around necks of jars. Set candle holders and candles on top.

Instructions
PREPARATION
1. Use sponge brush to paint 3-1/2" wide band of Baby Blue around center of jar. Pounce brush up and down onto surface until area is filled with color. Surface will be slightly bumpy in texture when dry.

2. Trace pattern onto tracing paper. Flip paper over and retrace lines with pencil. Flip paper back over to original side.

3. Place traced designs onto dry Baby Blue basecoated area of jar. Use stylus to retrace over design, transferring patter onto jar. Pattern details can be retraced as needed.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Basecoat body, arms, face and candy cane areas of all snowmen with two coats of Gloss White, drying between coats.

2. Use #1 liner to paint eyes and inner mouth areas with Gloss Black.

3. Use #2 round brush to paint noses Christmas Red. Gently tap a little of Christmas Red onto cheek areas.

4. For first snowman to left in pattern, paint hat and mittens Christmas Red. When dry, use #0 liner to paint Gloss White highlight line down center of stripes. Paint scarf Christmas Green. Outline and add all details with #0 liner brush and Gloss Black.

5. For second snowman, paint bonnet and bow Christmas Green and mittens Christmas Red.

6. For third snowman, paint mittens Christmas Green and scarf and earmuffs Christmas Red.

7. For fourth snowman, paint hat ruffles Christmas Green; cape and mittens Christmas Red.

8. For fifth snowman, paint coat and cap Christmas Red; scarf and mittens Christmas Green; pom-pom Gloss White.

9. Paint snowballs with two coats of Gloss White, using #8 round brush. For ground area, use #4 flat brush and apply Gloss White, using a circular motion. Apply only one coat, allowing some of the Baby Blue basecoat to show through.

10. When dry, use #0 liner and Gloss Black to add outlining and detail lines.

11. Create one snowflake at a time, using #1 liner brush to place dot of Gloss White onto center of snowflake. Use #0 liner to pull individual lines out and away from center paint dot.

12. Use #2 round brush to add Silver Metallic squiggly lines across top and bottom edges of design to frame in scene.

13. Use #0 liner and Gloss Black to add motion lines around characters. Brush over sky area with Starlight Glitter. When dry, fill jar with candy canes.

Instructions
Product Note
Ultra Gloss Acrylic Enamels provide a durable, high-gloss finish to almost any hard surface, and they are safe, easy-to-use and non-toxic. There are 36 colors plus a clear medium to create soft tints and durable glazes.

Transferring Patterns
Lay tracing paper over pattern and draw the basic lines. Lay this tracing on the surface to be painted. Slip graphite paper between the tracing and the surface. Tape to secure. Trace with a pencil to transfer the design. Do not trace details until after basecoating has dried.

Preparation
1. Wash all pieces in warm soapy water. Rinse with 1:1 mix of vinegar and water. Dry well.

2. Use masking tape to tape off 1-1/4" horizontal stripes on cookie jar and one stripe in center of mug.

Painting Instructions
1. Paint open areas on cookie jar and mug as well as entire plate Buttermilk. Remove tape. Let dry.

2. Use 3/4" flat brush to paint evenly spaced vertical stripes on cookie jar. Let dry.

3. Trace and transfer gingerbread designs to jar and mug.

4. Use #10 flat shader to paint gingerbread with 1:1 mix of Burnt Sienna and Sable Brown. Shade with Burnt Sienna.

5. Use liner to paint Gloss White frosting details. Use brush handle to dot Chocolate eyes and Christmas Red nose.

6. With #10 flat shader, paint Avocado sweater on one gingerbread. Use 3/4" flat brush to paint jar neck and lid knob Avocado, jar lid Buttermilk and jar rim Christmas Red.

7. Use liner handle end to dot red clusters on Buttermilk areas of all pieces and heart on sweater of center gingerbread man on jar. Outline sweater with Gloss Black.

8. Use liner to paint wavy lines on stripe borders and around inside edge of plate with Avocado.

Finishing Instructions
Tie ribbon around knob of cookie jar.

Instructions
PREPARATION
1. Place pattern between stencil material and backing. Trace design with marker. Cut out with swivel blade.

2. Wash canisters in warm soapy water, rinse, wipe with alcohol and dry with a soft cloth.

3. Pour small amount of stencil cleaner into a plastic plate or shallow saucer.

Note:
Clean stencil between uses with stencil cleaner. Scrub gently with
scruffy brush. Layer between paper towels and press to dry.

INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Position flower stencil randomly on canisters. Apply Ultra Gloss with
pouncer brush as follows: 3 QUART CANISTER - Stencil: Flowers - Cadmium
Yellow; centers - alternate Country Blue and Royal Fuchsia. Pounce lid
with Country Blue. 2 QUART CANISTER - Stencil: Flowers - Royal Fuchsia;
centers - alternate Country Blue and Cadmium Yellow. Pounce lid with
Cadmium Yellow. 1 QUART CANISTER - Stencil: Flowers - Country Blue;
centers - alternate Cadmium Yellow and Royal Fuchsia. Pounce lid with
Royal Fuchsia.

2. For all pieces, paint the following: Pounce rim Gloss White.

3. Use #3 round brush to paint stems Christmas Green.

4. Use#6 to paint Gloss Black stripes on white rim and leaves Christmas Green.

5. Use #6 handle tip to dot Gloss White on lids.

6. Use fine liner filled with Gloss Black to outline flowers, stems, leaves and add details.

7. Let dry. Do not bake!

Instructions
Preparation
Wash jar in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. Use scissors to cut out green foam leaf shapes.

1. Use craft knife or scissors to cut mouth shape from self-adhesive paper. Position and press shape onto jar.
2. Basecoat jar and lid with Multi-Purpose Sealer.
3. Paint lid and neck of jar Hauser Light Green. Paint remainder of jar Pumpkin.
4. Trace and transfer patterns for eyes and nose, or use chalk pencil to draw shapes on jar.
5. Side load #12 flat brush with Tangelo Orange and float color in vertical stripes on jar. (Refer to photo for placement.)
6. Paint eyes Snow White with Baby Blue irises and Lamp Black pupils. Highlight with Snow White.
7. Paint nose Tangelo Orange.
8. Remove adhesive paper from mouth area.
9. Use liner brush and Lamp Black to outline shapes.
10. Brush Star Lite Topcoat over jar and Christmas Green Craft Twinkles over leaves and lid.
11. Mist jar and lid with Americana Matte Spray.
12. Twist chenille stem around jar top. Position and adhere foam leaves onto chenille stem ends.

Helpful Hint: Let dry between steps

Instructions for Scarecrow Ornament
1. Place ornament over pattern. Sponge with synthetic sponge as follows: face area, Sable Brown; hat, Burnt Sienna; cheeks, Burgundy. Use hair dryer to dry paint.

2. Using #0 liner, paint flowers Cadmium Yellow; paint flower centers, eyes, nose, and mouth with Black.

3. Straw hair is Cadmium Yellow and the bow is Burgundy.

Instructions for Pumpkin Ornament
1. Sponge Orange on entire surface. Dry with hair dryer. Apply a second coat of Orange. Let dry.

2. Sponge Burgundy on cheeks; highlight edge with Cadmium Yellow.

3. With #0 liner, paint eyes, nose, and mouth with Black. Let dry.

4. Eye details are Buttermilk, and stitching is Black.

Instructions for Jar
1. Sponge Orange on outside of entire jar. Let dry.

2. Transfer pattern around surface of jar.

3. Use #0 liner and Black to paint all liner work.

4. Refer to photo for color placement on faces. All cheeks are painted with
Burgundy.

Finishing Instructions
Curing: Allow painted items to air dry for 7 days. Or, bake items 24 hours after painting, at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

dishwasher safe.

Note: Although Ultra Gloss is non-toxic, it is not recommended for use
where painted area will contact food or utensils.
